Description
Flowers from my garden. Taken in April.
Flower: Hyacinth. The name comes from Greek mythology. According to legend, Apollo, the god of sun, gave the name to the flower which grew from the blood of one of his followers, Hyakinthos, when he was killed. I'ts botanical name is Hyacinthus orientalis.

#Though a little unfocused, I still enjoy the flowers themselves. This is such a soothing color. It's one that to me is unisex--can really accent a baby girl's eyes or would be an adorable shade of blue for a onesie or hat on a baby boy
